Brian, the owner, is great to deal with. His crew was diligent & stayed all day until the job was done. They cleaned up after themselves. all in all, a great job. The office seems a little overwhelmed sometimes. Keep track of the rebates they say you're supposed to get as part of the purchase or they might get lost in the shuffle. We got both of ours after we followed up with a few phone calls.

Needed a laptop upgraded from Office 2010 to 2016 & the same with an older desktop plus a solid state drive to improve speed. Fast, professional & reasonably priced. Will contact again for future computer needs. Thank you, Eli.

Before I called Cozy Comfort this year, I looked into a well-known furnace cleaning company with a big advertising budget (lots of commercials) & found their rates to be higher than Cozy Comfort's. Then I called Cozy Comfort to arrange for our annual furnace cleaning & tune-up. The office manager is always a pleasure to talk to. She arranged for Jay, our usual guy, to come in a couple of days. He came within the time frame quoted & was pleasant & efficient, as always.

Wasps were building a nest under our soffit above the porch. Store-bought sprays had no effect. It was unnerving having them so close to the door. I searched for pest control companies on Homestars & contacted 5 of them via their web sites. A technician from Home Hardware Pest Control was the 1st to call & said he could be there in an hour or so. He used a specialized sprayer that makes the powder stick to the inner surfaces & said it should prove to be effective in a couple of days. By morning, there was no more wasp activity & none since. It should be noted that a competitor called later & said they would have to dismantle the soffit to get to the nest. I should have asked how much time & expense that would have been. We get wasp nests every year but I know I'll be calling HHPC again the next time there's an inaccessible nesting site. Thank you!

While inspecting our attic to find the source of a leak during this last Spring thaw, I discovered that a bathroom vent installed in our roof by Lampert Plumbing had not been installed very neatly & there were signs of water seepage in the surrounding wood. One call to Lawrence Lampert & a roofing specialist was directed to repair the affected area at no charge to me. Considering that the reno took place a year or two before (really, how often do you look in your attic?), I can't thank Lampert Plumbing enough for standing behind their workmanship the way they did. They've done great work for us in the past, including 2 bathroom renovations, & I know I will count on them again in the future.

Communication with FG was prompt prior to the start of our job, and throughout, which was relatively small in scope. They sent someone out to give us an estimate to replace the fence around our 35’ x 35’ yard within days of our original request, unlike the others in the fencing industry that I had contacted over the last 2 years. The job started a day ahead of schedule which was a pleasant surprise. I was truly impressed as I watched one of the installers start to attach a board over a piece of lattice when he noticed that it was about 1/8 of an inch too short. He ripped off the board & cut a new one to the correct length. He also found somewhere else to cut & use the original board so it wouldn't go to waste; quality, efficiency & pride in workmanship personified. There was one concern that arose during the installation which was addressed & remedied the same day it arose with a personal visit from the job supervisor. Only time will tell how the fence weathers, but that’s the nature of pressure treated wood. All in all, I was thoroughly pleased with the quality of the job from start to finish.

Based on our brief phone conversation, Lawrence Lampert recommended a quality faucet to replace our failing one. His techs arrived when scheduled, were courteous & did a quick, clean job. Having used Lampert previously for 2 bathroom renovations, I knew I'd be pleased with the results, & I was right.
