A very challenging project as our previous contractor had done a really bad job with regards to electrical, plumbing and drywall of our basement. Not an easy fix and we had an important deadline (my wedding). We knew who to call as KC had worked for us before and his price came in the most reasonable. We needed a completely renovated bathroom, new larger sleek tiling, new contemporary walk in shower and a double vanity. Thats all we had to say and they took it from there. In the main bedroom we needed a complete new paint job, wanted a drywall ceiling in place of the drop ceiling and a complete new pot lighting system. It turned out amazing, any minor issues with the lighting were corrected. In the main living areas again a drywall ceiling, a modern remote sensing light system, and a fresh paint job with crown moulding to accentuate. And hanging the flatscreen tv against the wall. Again amazing work I couldnt recognize it. KC was very transparent during the quoting period and was upfront about areas where there could be additional expenses because of the condition of our basement. His team's knowledge and craftsmanship in all disciplines (plumbing, electrical, drywall,) and architectural savy Let me sleep in peace. He was very open to our vision and really took pride into making it happen and that is not easy as my family is very particular. It was also a very modern look which shows knowledge of contemporary trends. because of the scale of the project and time required we had workers in our house daily but never did we feel disturbed or annoyed or obstructed. Add to this my dad and I are constantly travelling. Yet we were able to coordinate with KC the whole time no matter where we were and he never skipped a beat be it needing direction or having ideas to communicate or correcting any minor items. We really appreciated his dedication to us and the pride his team took in their work. If ever we had an issue they would correct it if it was to do with their work. The one thing we've always noted about the doktor handyman team on all our projects is they can be very self sufficient if you are at a busy point in your life as we were with so many other things going on. They will always make the right reccomendation. We would definitely refer them in a heartbeat and will use them again. For a project like ours no other could've worked out like this.

once again kc and team did a great job in creating an opening in the wall between our tv room and kitchen. Also the associated paint, plumbing, electrical and trim to make it look like a nice clean job. we also had them paint our tv room to match the kitchen now that there was an opening, once again well done.

I tried talking to a couple of contractors about the issue at one of my condos where the tenant had discovered damaged drywall and mold due to unknown leakage of water. I was not able to be on site so all I could do was send pictures. I was extremely impressed with Doktor Handyman's services. KC reviewed the pictures and was very open and honest about the damage and what he thought could be the problem. He then took the initiative to connect with my tenants, book a time to go there and had his guys in and out once with the job. My tenants found him extremely friendly and professional. Will be contacting him for future projects for sure!
