We decided to turn our garage into a "man cave". From floor to ceiling, we wanted to have a very tasteful and professional look. About midway through the design aspect of the project, I reached out to several electricians to get an estimate for lighting and heating. Dan was not only able to provide reasonable pricing, he was VERY helpful with his suggestions on which lighting fixture would provide the look we were aiming for. In addition, given his experience on previous projects, he helped me find a better solution for a heater. He went as far as using his vendor to get me discounted pricing without any markup. He completed the project on time and within budget. Without a doubt, he is our go to electrician going forward.

It was the week between Christmas and New Years; our furnace decided to die in the early morning. With double digit negative temperature + 2 small children in the house, we needed a solution fast. Had a highly recommended company come in to assess the issue. It was determined that the control board on the unit went, they estimated it would cost ~ 800 CAD to fix. Considering the furnace was only 4 years old, and $1,300 brand new, this was disheartening to hear. In addition, given the holidays, I had a tough time getting a hold of anyone to confirm whether or not it was covered under warranty. After calling at least half a dozen places, they all told me the same thing, it would NOT be covered, and the quote was fairly close to above. Fortunately, I came across Rob from Reliable Home Comfort. Once I informed him of the issue, he verified and confirmed that the part was under warranty. In addition, he had it on stock (everyone else said it would take 2 - 3 days for it to come in). Within a few hours of speaking with Rob, our furnace was in working order. In addition, he spent the time to explain what happened, as well as tweaked the unit to provide better heat throughout the house. He was extremely professional, clearly knowledgeable about his field, and saved us a ton of money during a rather costly time of year. If you are having issues - look no further, Rob's your man.
