Terrible customer service from a company that does not value loyalty
I've been using Jameson for water testing and all chemical and product purchases for 20 years. I was having trouble balancing my pool water one week and asked for an extra water test. Marilou gave me a million reasons why I could not have another test (because it costs the company $5/test and about $7000/year). She did not offer that I could pay for an additional test. Worse than that, she did not offer any solutions to help correct my water chemistry. I explained that I do not take advantage of the water testing but this was an extenuating circumstance. Apparently 20 years of loyalty means nothing to Marilou or to the owner, Paul, who I emailed with my concerns. I gave him the opportunity to correct the situation, but he only gave excuses as well. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the management does not treat customers with care. I would avoid Jameson - there are many other, smaller pool companies in the area to choose from. The "approximate cost" is based on spending a minimum of $500/year in chemicals and equipment over 20 years. In reality, it is likely much more than that.
