I had a wasp nest above my master bedroom in the attic. I saw wasp entering between the brick and the roof. There wasn't too many, but its something I wanted to deal with since it's still relatively early in the wasp-season (mid May). I found North Star via homestars. I worked with Shakeel (the gentlemen from Bradford). I called on Sunday evening, & they arrived Tuesday (Monday was thunderstorms). They showed me the nests that were removed (5 or 6 in total). I saw them spray the entrances & nearby possible entrances. Very happy with the honesty, no surprise, friendly & professional service.

I had a basement-drain clogged. I called up Sewer Squad after a referral from a friend & their homestars review. Their end-to-end experience is amazing. It felt like everyone cares from the reception (Amy) to the Drain specialist (Nick Feder). I was given updates on when they'll arrive & was given a 40 minutes heads up. Nick is friendly, professional and most importantly thorough. Nick ran a snake down the basement drain to dislodge the white clog. He stressed test my house by running the washer & dumping water directly into the drain. He saw that it was backing up a little still & ran a longer snake. Nick did this twice, and snaked up to 105ft. Nick stressed test it once last time & even got me to flush my toilets at the same time. Nick proved to me that the drain is more or less unclogged. I say "more or less" because Nick said they'll send someone with a camera to confirm (part of the package that I paid for). Non-service related things worth mentioning: * Nick sent me a selfie after I was notified he'll be arriving in 40 minutes. * They use a company van & a uniform. Together with the uniform, it makes me feel safe I am opening my door to the right person. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.

A team of 3 gentlemen came to my place on time. They were friendly & profession. They came in and gave me a suggestion on how many pot lights are would look nice; 9 pot lights. They provided a suggestion on capping the kitchen light above the stove, & will help me install a new breakfast-table light. I went with their suggestion They used covers to keep the home clean. They taught me how to adjust the height of my new light. The price is great, and everything works as expected. Some highlights of my interaction with the team: * Asked to see the room above the kitchen so he has an idea of where the water pipes are. * Asked to shut off the main water valve as a precaution * Using a rubbermaid-like-tub on their drill to collect the dust * The gentleman knew exactly what light-temperature my existing pot lights are. This was particularly impressive to me. * They installed the new breakfast table light in under ten minutes. They tested the bulbs that I supplied. They noticed the bulbs I brought for the light are different than my existing pot lights and asked if that was desired. I am literally blown away by their level of service. They are fast, clean, friendly, & professional.
