Highly unreliable and unprofessional company. We called Tarlochan as we had a leakage from the roof which trickled into our bedroom. He came, spent 10 minutes on the roof, advised it was because of a protruding plywood and that he has fixed it. He charged $250 and assured the leak won't happen again. Later my partner called again to check if he was sure no handyman work or shingle replacement was needed. He again said it was all done and good. 3 weeks later water started leaking again from the same spot. We called him on a Sunday. He said he will come and check on Monday, he never came or called. We kept calling, he wouldn't answer and many calls later he texted he will come on Wednesday or Thursday and that we should not worry. He did not come/call till Thursday. We sent him a message asking if he is not going to do it afterall. He sent his guy Bharminder on Friday. Bharminder again said the same story that it was because of a plywood popping out from the stud. We asked why it wasn't taken care of properly the 1st time itself and he had no logical answer. He applied a glue sheet as a patch and said this will solve the issue for 3-4 years at least at which time roof replacement will be due anyway. We inquired if they can just repair the wood/stud instead which is causing the problem or if we should call someone else and get that sorted. He was confident it can't be done right now. We asked him at least 10 times if this will work anyway. He was extremely confident it would. 10 days to that repair and we have the leak from the same spot and water has spread even further into the studs and beneath the roof, again leaking into the attic and from there to the bedroom. We called Bharminder as we had told him very firmly that we will call him if this is not resolved. I am certain noone will call back and I have no patience to wait because this is ridiculous. So we already spent $250 on nothing and will have to get another guy to do this and pay them handsomely too. Good job on someone's hard-earned money. I am now sure that either they have no knowledge of roof repairs or just want to strip people off for shoddy jobs. How could one even trust this person for bigger projects like a roof replacement? We are livid and will actually spread the word to never hire this company. Mistakes are one thing, not taking responsibility and doing shoddy jobs is altogether different. They should have known that if businesses are built on word of mouth, the reverse can happen too when you don't do your job well enough.
