IKEA Furniture Assembly (Do NOT Use This Company)
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! A few months ago my wife and I purchased a Besta Framsta entertainment unit from IKEA, who recommended we use 310 Move as the company to install. We did. On the afternoon of the day they were to do the install, they NEVER showed up...and no call to our home to let us know, despite the fact I cancelled appointments at my own work, during a busy time period. When we called to complain and were rebooked, the installer showed up more than an hour late and was there for much of the evening. Without so much as asking, the installer also proceed to "drill" and "cut" unsightly openings in my brand new$2500+ furniture without even ASKING me. It looked like a Grade 7 wood shop project. At least my tv was 60", so I could position it in such a way as to cover it. FAST FORWARD to last week. We bought a new home and needed to have the above unit disassembled and then reassembled at our new place. As the 310Move people had installed it the first time, we thought it would be safest to arrange for them to do the job. We arranged to be home between 9am and 1pm last week for them to do this. Much to my surprise, while on my way from our new home in Toronto to our old home in Burlington, I received a call at 8:45 saying that they were already at our house and that they would leave if I wasn't there within 15 minutes. I told them I would be there by 9:15 at the latest, but they refused to stay. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE: 1) no show the first time 2) late the second time 3) rudely leave the third time when I was minutes away...and refuse to come back 4) complaint to main office line met with rude and arrogant woman, who refused to re-book 5) calls and message of complaint to Owner, Paul never returned
