We needed two new ductless air units in our older Toronto home. We went with this company because they had previously installed our boiler and we were happy with their service. Not so happy now. They sent one of their guys promptly who took a look at the old unit, agreed it needed replacing, confirmed the location for a second new unit and sent us a quote. We signed off on it and set up an installation date two weeks later. When the guys came to install it they refused to do it because the outside unit is at second floor level and they apparently needed a lift. Which was 100% obvious to the first guy and had also been shown on the photos my husband sent them when booking the first appointment. Fine, we agreed to pay for rental of the lift and asked for a new installation date. They ignored our calls for two days then called on Saturday to say they weren’t going to do it at all. Too dangerous apparently. So now we are without A/C during the hottest week of the summer. And scrambling to find another supplier. Completely unimpressed. Why couldn’t they have told us three weeks ago that they weren’t going to be able to do this?? There is absolutely no way that the first guy could have missed seeing the location of the unit. This is NOT good customer service and we won’t be using this company again.
