Our NW Calgary home suffered hail damage from the August storm and I was unsure of the damage on our 10-year-old roof. Co-owner Karen was quick to respond to my enquiry and co-owner Terry came out a few days later for an inspection. We both climbed the ladder for the roof inspection and Terry pointed out where the hail hit the roofing tiles. Instead of advocating for a new roof, Terry said the tiles were still in decent shape, no heavily damaged areas, and that the roof was certainly OK for a few more years. No Charge for the inspection. Nice to find honest and prompt service. They will get our business in a few years!

We moved into our 30 year-old house a few years ago and the home inspector suggested that we needed to improve our attic insulation. He reported that we had 6 inches of insulation and an R rating of just 17. After some research, I sent out several requests for free estimates to insulation companies to perform our attic insulation top-up. Shawn at Atticpros responded to my request within a day, came to our house for an inspection the next day, showed us pictures of our attic, and quoted me his price later that night. After agreeing to the contract, Shawn confirmed an installation date for a week later. Shawn, and his crew of two others, showed up on time, did the job, cleaned up, and were gone within 2 hours. Shawn showed us pictures of his work after the project was completed and the attic certainly looked MUCH better. Everything went according to plan and the original quote was honoured. It was nice to work with a small company where the estimator is actually the contractor who will perform the job. No surprises. Atticpros installed 20 inches of new insulation (for an R value of 50), 28 baffles, insulated the hatch and also discovered that one of our bathroom exhaust fans was not properly vented to the outside. He added a coupling, insulated it, and redirected the vent to the outside. The whole experience with Atticpros was professional and went off according to plan. Thank you for a job well done.
