We had moved into a new house, and like many new homeowners, immediately began to find problems that previous homeowners had put off doing. Parging was splitting, the roof had reached the end of its life, boards of the deck and shed were rotting. I found Bill's contact information on a warranty for work he'd done years and years previously by a previous homeowner who had put in some significant work on the house. I gave him a call and am so very glad I did. He remembered the property immediately, knew what work he'd done, and was more responsive than any of the other contractors we reached out to. He had the roof done quickly, and soon after had a carpenter out to fix all of our wood problems. In comparing quotes, he seemed to always give a fair price. I never felt taken advantage of, and often felt educated as he'd explain why something that I thought might be a good idea was actually not going to solve my problems. He had the opportunity to take advantage of my ignorance and make a quick buck -- instead he made me less ignorant! I've been thoroughly impressed with the quality of work, the speed of the work, and the ease with which I could work with him. He and his team were organized and responsive throughout. He'd be my first call if I have any further work that needs to be done, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend him.

David was professional, clear, he and his colleague arrived on time, did their work thoroughly, efficiently, and well. They didn't wear masks by default. I did and I should have asked them to. That's mostly on me, so I don't hold it against them, but I'm still surprised that people working in different homes every day do not mask by default. Things also did not come as clean as we would have liked, but I don't think that's David's fault at all! They were years-old stains on rugs and furniture we had neglected. We learned a lesson in "what steam cleaning can do", but feel confident that David did everything that was reasonable in the circumstances, and that if the stains didn't come out after his attentions, they would not no matter whom we had hired.
