Dmitri is terrific - competent, polite, trustworthy and professional. Dmitiri determined our 9 yr old fridge was not worth fixing as the cost would exceed $1,000 and a new, similar replacement fridge would cost around $2,500. You don't get more honest than that! I am very impressed with Rick Appliance Repair. I called them on a holiday Monday expecting to leave a message, but the phone was answered promptly by Rick who indicated he would be able to look at my dishwasher, which seemed to have no power, the following afternoon. He was as good as his word: he and his son Ravi arrived exactly when expected, determined that the problem lay with wires improperly capped, not with control panel issues, and had the problem fixed within 30 minutes. Very professional and reasonably priced; I would not hesitate to contact them again for any appliance repair.

I went to Faulkner's yesterday when I discovered my existing fridge had stopped working, after first visiting three of the large retail appliance stores. The large retailers were consistent in their price with varying delivery dates (i.e. ten days to two months). Not only was I offered a better price than all the others, Gord and his staff contacted the Electrolux warehouse in Mississauga to ensure that the Electrolux model I wanted was in stock, They picked up the unit this morning and delivered it promptly this afternoon when promised. The delivery men did an excellent job, even removing the existing fridge for me. So, within twenty-four hours, I had a new fridge delivered, set up, and working to perfection! I could never have received such service from one of the big box appliance retailers. In a day and age when true customer service is often what separates one retailer from another, Faulkner's takes its commitment to excellent customer service very seriously. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
