We were having difficulty getting a consistent wifi signal in our basement and using an old Xbox to stream Netflix wasn't working too well. We also had a different remote for each piece of equipment and weren't happy with our old entry level soundbar. Shaun listened carefully to our concerns and gave us a number of suggestions as to how we could deal with the issues we identified. We decided to go ahead and Shaun provided installed a new wifi router, apple TV, sonos soundbar and tied it all together with one harmonized remote. After installation and programming, Shaun told us to give him a call if we had any difficulties with any of the equipment. We have been enjoying the system for about a week now and have had no issues at all with the wifi in the basement or any of the components. We are really happy with the equipment, the service, and the cost was reasonable. There was no pressure to purchase more equipment than we wanted or needed. We wouldn't hesitate to use Shaun and company again.

We are extremely pleased with the whole process from our initial consultation with Shawn through the installation of our new windows. We found everyone we dealt with very willing to respond to any questions we had. The old windows were removed and replaced very efficiently. Workmen were conscientious about laying dropcloths inside our home and made every effort to leave the worksite clean. They even vacuumed our driveway! Screens were delayed about a week but Adam was excellent about communicating with us as to when they would arrive. They arrived as planned and Les came by to install them. The new windows look great. We would not hesitate to use MAXgreen again in future!

The tech showed up with the parts he thought he would need to repair the range. After opening up the range, he showed me a number of melted wires and explained that the repair would be more extensive than he had anticipated, but that he had the parts and would go ahead if I wanted. He also told me what the total repair would cost. I decided against repairing the range as it was quite old. I was really impressed with the knowledge and manner of the tech. I would not hesitate to call this company again for appliance repairs.

We previously had Almac build a deck and a paving stone patio and were very pleased with the results. This time we contacted them to replace an old chain link fence along one side and the back of the yard with a wood fence and to construct beds for planting adjacent to the new fence. Allan, the owner of the company, assisted us in planning the work. We decided on a six foot tall fence with pressure treated lumber for the frame and cedar boards. We also planned the beds next to the fence as well as one in our front yard. Lastly, we planned a stone retaining wall to replace an old wood one that was collapsing. Allan got back to us quickly with a quote for the work and a date to begin was arranged. Allan introduced us to the job foreman just prior to the start of the construction. All of the old chain link fencing was removed and disposed of, the new fence was built, beds and retaining wall constructed and finishing touches with new sod done within a week. Each day the crew arrived on time, worked steadily through the day and left the yard clean before leaving. Communication was excellent, and any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly. The workmanship is excellent, and we have had many compliments on the quality and appearance of all elements of the project. The fence between our property and our neighbour's had been in place for many years and so we included our neighbour in the discussion prior to moving ahead with the new fence, even though the new one is built on our property. Both during and after the completion of the project our neighbour told us how impressed she was with the professionalism of the workers and how careful they were to leave everything on both sides of the fence better than they found it. We are very happy with all the work which has provided us with both beauty and privacy. We would not hesitate to use Almac again in the future.

I contacted Sky High this spring for a quote to prune some large evergreen trees in our yard. They provided a very reasonable quote within a few days. They came, as arranged, and did a great job of pruning the trees, leaving no mess at all behind. A short time later we decided that a large blue spruce tree in our front yard needed to be removed. Again, Sky High was pleasant and prompt in providing an estimate. They removed the tree as planned, and hauled all the wood away, leaving the yard very clean and neat. I would have no hesitation dealing with them again in future for any pruning or tree removal needs. Linda and Wes were both excellent about responding to questions I had when arranging both of these jobs.

We had our main bathroom completely renovated some time ago by Calgary Bathworks and were very impressed with the work done by everyone involved. They were here on time every day and were always conscientious and professional. Communication with us throughout the process, from first meeting to finishing, was excellent! We were so happy with them, that when it came time to do our master ensuite, we didn't hesitate to contract with them again. I'm happy to say that our second experience was every bit as good as the first. They did the work as planned, cleaned up each day, and were meticulous in every way. Communication was ongoing and they were always receptive to any questions we had. We cannot recommend Bathworks highly enough and would not hesitate to deal with them in future.

We called Westridge Electric to remediate our older home's aluminum wiring. Scott came and thoroughly inspected the electrical panel and explained the Copalum method of remediation. He also answered all of our questions and provided a detailed estimate for the work. Scott and Curtis showed up promptly as arranged, dealt with every electrical fixture and outlet in our home, including climbing into the attic to inspect a junction box. They replaced all of our switches and plugs as they worked, and also replaced a number of light fixtures that were dated. As well, we had Scott replace our panel and install whole home surge protection and wireless linked smoke detectors. Scott and Curtis worked steadily each day, took time to answer any questions we had along the way, and cleaned up everything at the end of each day. We were completely impressed with both of them and have already arranged to have Scott return to install LED lighting in our living room.

Ice and old age caused my downspout to break away from the eavestrough. The strapping securing it to the house was also very loose. Russ came out within a couple of days of emailing him, repaired the damage to the downspout and replaced the strapping. He also tightened up another downspout and rearranged the gutter so that water would move away from the house more efficiently. I will not hesitate to have The Gutter Patrol back for any other gutter or eavestrough issues.
