Where to start... I purchased in May of this year and here we are well into November with what looks like another month or two to go. This is my first house and what a horrible challenging experience this has been already. The back corner of my house was hit with a piece of large equipment which broke one or more of the post tension rods in the slab not to mention the slab it's self. Also because of that the beams have split. This is a serious issue. When we brought it to the supers attention all he could say is it will be engineered. We have asked for stays updates on repairs for over 3 weeks now. When someone finally does respond, we still get "it's being engineered. I decided to make a trip down to the job site (I live 150miles away) this past Thursday to my surprise to find the house wrapped and ready for stucco. The load bearing column in place, the beams covered up, and of course the broken slab and broken rod(s) that is visible from the street. Nothing has or is being engineered at the moment. I guess this is little concern for Mattamy. If I don't get some answers I will be contacting an attorney.
