Hired ABI Summer 2021 to work on the front yard. He promised (in writing) to finish the work in 5-6 days and took 3 weeks. We were patient too much. His contract is purely to protect him. Using an obscure clause he overcharged at the end. A bag of jointing sand is $20 at Home Depot and he charged $80. Used play sand instead of POLYMERIC jointing sand with paving stones, contrary to the contract. It is sad! He came back at the end of May 2022 and identified the following deficiencies . 1.) The Paving Stone Work. Both the patio and the drive way edge extensions have uneven surface, sinking, sloping/not level /cracked stones etc. In addition, he committed to reapply the proper jointing sand this time. 2.) The Lawn. Need to level the lawn and add more soil and seed in between the sod blocks/rolls, to create an even/level surface. He promised to fix all the above items within a few days 2 weeks, at the most. And now 6 months later no response from him to all our email/phone/text messages. He gives the impression of mature reliable business owner and unfortunately he is not. Shame on us for believing him! If he has anything to refute any of these points he should come out and come clean. But he will not!
