The lintel was not capped on my replacement window when it was installed. After a couple of phone calls, I was told they don't cap lintels. The window it replaced had been capped and the exposed lintel is peeling and looks a mess. I was told a manager would get back to me. No one did. After several calls and no response from the first employee, I spoke with the installation manager who was going to send me a copy of the regulations that say they can't cap lintels. He never did this and doesn't answer messages. His voice mailbox is now full. I was told I could have the lintel capped if I signed a waiver but without any information about why they say they can't finish the job, I am reluctant to sign anything. I am being ignored by more than one employee of this company, so can only assume it is company policy to stonewall long enough to make me give up. There is supposed to be a 25 year warranty. I dread the thought of trying to get any repair work done if it should be needed.
