House Addition (including excavation)
Patrick, the Contractor, started the job in 2015 and paused in May 2016 to take a personal vacation. As of today, March 13, 2019, he has not returned to finish the job; although we have contacted him many times. In addition to us (the homeowners) having to pick up some of the work, where he left off, in the new bedrooms, bathroom and basement, Patrick left an abundance of hazardous and dangerous materials and debris around our front- and back-yards - that we were forced to remove and dispose of. Most disgracefully, due to the Patrick's faulty work, we've had many basement and rook leaks in the new addition; and major damage to our ceilings, walls and floors in the new addition and pre-existing areas of our home. We are under a lot of financial and mental stress to professionally re-do Patrick's original job. He has not responded to our numerous attempts at resolve. We're now, after dealing with this for almost three years, in the midst of seeking legal advice.
