Arthur was at my house within two hours of my initial call! They couldn't do my job immediately, but put a temporary cover on my roof until the repair could be scheduled. They were professional, very knowledgeable and clear about the problem and why the repair was being done in the way they recommended. I would highly recommend The Roof Whisperer.

We have used Quality Home painting on three separate occasions and are just about to book our fourth job for our new home. Howard and his crew are absolutely fantastic. Sandy is so polite and personable, and has been present at each job over the past four years. They are full time painters - not a crew that is constantly changing and earning minimum wage. They truly care about your home and the people living there. They were very sweet with our extremely attentive pug, too! When the job is complete, Howard offered us a full breakdown of the final fee showing exactly where the amounts come from. I also like that he uses a local paint shop to purchase his paint. Shop local! (the $3500 spent was over four years on three separate jobs. They are very fair when quoting their work.)

We have met many tradespeople over the years and were particularly impressed with George of Titan Carpentry. At the first meeting, he provided pages of photographs of previous custom work and written recommendations from previous clients along with phone numbers so that we could chat with them about their experiences if necessary. The design process seemed to be just as important to George as the finished product as he built a mock up of our shelves so that we could see how they would look before he built the final product. This was incredibly helpful as we were not sure about height, number of shelves, etc. The custom playhouse that George designed fits like a glove in our backyard and the kids enjoy it very much. George spent time to research the appropriate setbacks, permits, etc. so that we would not run into trouble with our neighbours. I am particularly impressed with the followup from George over a year later inquiring if there are any maintenance issues with the playhouse that need to be dealt with. Although George was not the least expensive option, his jobs came in at the estimated price with no surprises. We were not competing with other jobs for George's time as he schedules his work so that he starts one job after he completes another. I only wish George lived closer to our cottage so he could help us out there!

Maret's is by far the best house cleaning company I've ever experienced. Maret is meticulous about the cleanliness of your home and even does spot checks to ensure that her staff are doing a good job. Maret is careful to hire only friendly, competent workers who do an excellent job every time they come! I've found Maret to be flexible with scheduling and very understanding of our family and our needs. I highly recommend Maret's!
