When you are in the market for renovating your basement, finishedbasement.ca are the benchmark you should compare your contractor to. We found them via a referral and were able to get an initial consult within days. Igor and Vitaly helped us with the design and made amazing recommendations which made the process very easy. they also teamed up with a company to remove some low and annoying hvac bulkheads which was the best choice I made! Once the process started the entire operation was a well oiled operation first 2 days came plumbing the next came a 7 man team for 4 days to frame, electrical and structure, next 4 days was dry wall and taping and the next for 4 days was finishing and trim .... 14 days and the basement was completed, every request to change something was accommodated and the workers were all professional and courteous. The materials they used were high quality and very practical for basement, the prices of their stuff was comparable to something at Home Depot, so for convenience we stuck to most of the standard fixtures offered which was still high quality. No doubt the price of finishedbasement.ca is higher than your normal basement guy but the work is guaranteed and if you want to start using your basement in 14 days then the savings in time, energy and inconvenience of having contractors in your basement over a period of months is worth every penny. The only problem we found was that they moved too fast, if you are not around and monitoring and making tweaks then you lose the value since before you have a chance to make an adjustment it's too late and drywall is up! So before starting, make sure you talk to Vitaly or the crew leader about every smallest desire so the can accommodate in the best way. If I could hire finishedbasements.ca for all my contracting needs I would, they have become the standard I compare all tradesmen to and will not hesitate to call them if I move house in the future

Fast, quick, knowledgable and respectable. I have a leaky roof after the storms we had this winter. 6 shingles had been uplifted from the roof and Atlas roofing came out to fix the shingles. Providing before and after photographs of the work while I was at the office. I would deal with again!

Great to deal with, Max I found very humble, polite and modest about this profession. He was fast, responsive, tried to help me over the phone before call out. He wants to get the job done and well. I'll always call him for my heat/ac needs

Found the company online they were the cheapest, I thought how can someone screw up such a simple job. The agreement was a table top glass for dining table for ~$200 + $100 delivery and install. So the glass was ok quality but dealing with this company was ridiculous. Lucy on the phone was ok to deal with but if Glenn ever picks up then hang up and try and again. This guy has such a problem dealing with customers, and makes you feel like you are interrupting his job. In addition, the install was worthless. Glenn was pushing the worker with him to get the job done fast and leave. To that point he dictated his worker "Throw the grommets on and lets get out of here" ... yes in my home, with me standing right next to him. So the install was bad and the grommets are uneven spread and randomly put on the glass. after 3 calls to get them to fix it. The only response I get from Glenn is "I'm not in your area, call me back later" Glass companies are a dime a dozen, find another and avoid.

I hired avery to move after being recommended from my realtor and other separate sources. I was moving a full house about 20km. Steve was our sales contact and he was very informative and upfront about the costs and the strategy the movers will take. On the day of the move, the team of 3 (Frank, Gord and Ricardo) were on-time and ready to go. they carefully used padding and mats to protect my home, they asked lots of questions while they got started which made me feel very trusting in their efforts. They were very efficient, knowledgable and careful with the furniture especially some of heavy pieces. they managed to quickly load a full truck and get everything in 1 truck load. Impressive by no means! I will not hesitate to hire/recommend them and ask for that team again!

Doug stained our fence and deck. He was very through and went above and beyond the call of duty on really tough spots he was staining. He was fast and his work was top notch. I would happily get student works again and ask for doug

Robert from the cutting edge roofing came by to do an estimate for repairing my roof. I originally had a leak and he provided honest and upfront advice on what corrective actions I should take. He was quick to perform the repair and extremely professional. I don't think need to look any further for a roofing company in future
