We signed a contract with a corporation operating as Infinite Basements in the Metro Vancouver area and in the Sechelt area to renovate our basement. The contractor abandoned the project and left it substantially unfinished. We obtained a judgement for his corporation at the small claims court but by then the corporation was dissolved. Please be very careful when giving money to this contractor. He left significant deficiencies and unpaid trade bills. Check the small claims court on line for other projects in dispute.

Eric from Desakota accepted to finish a 2 bedroom basement suite that had been abandoned by a previous contractor. He and his team completed the project on time and on budget. All of his sub trades were pleasant to deal with and any deficiencies were resolved quickly. We can not be happier with the results and would recommend him without qualms. After a negative experience with our first contractor it's nice to know that there are still honest people to work with. Of note are the 3 large window wells that add lots of light in the place.
