A few years ago Jamie and his team painted most of my home and I was completely happy with the job. I have just recently installed new hardwood floors and needed all the baseboards painted along with the master bedroom and master bath, so naturally I contacted Alderson Elite Painting Co again. Diane & Steve completed the project in 2.5 days. They did a fantastic job and went above and beyond what was expected. They actually FIXED some work another trade left unfinished/badly finished. I am very grateful for this. They cleaned up each night and the last day you would not even know they were here except for the beautiful work they did. Thanks again Jamie, Diane & Steve.

I was having new floor installed and wanted to renovate my staircase (stairs, railing, spindles). My flooring contractor recommended Max from Nord-Ost. Max came out very quickly and gave me a very reasonable quote. He explained exactly what would be done and answered all of my questions. He was very patient with me while I was deciding the design I wanted. He worked well with the flooring guys making sure no one got in each others way. Max's attention to detail was phenomenal. He took such care in making sure the treads were cut exactly. He cleaned up at the end of each day and arrived everyday at the time he told me he would be hear. Max went over and above in helping me move box and fixed a few things that had nothing to do with the stairs. I am so in love with my new stairs. Thanks Max for a fantastic job.

My neighbour recently had new floors installed by McLaughlin Flooring. I was very impressed with the end result that I contacted Rick to get a quote to do mine. Rick came out very quickly and provided what I felt was a very reasonable estimate. He explained everything that would be done in detail, answered all of my questions and we scheduled a date for the work to begin. The tear out of the old carpet/laminate floor went very quickly. They moved all of my heavy furniture and took great care in covering it all. His team, Attila and Tamas did a fantastic job installing the new flooring, baseboard and shoe mould. They even helped me move heavy boxes to the garage which they didn't need to do. They arrived promptly at the time they told me they would be here each day, worked the entire day and cleaned up every day before leaving. Rick checked on their progress often and the job was finished on time. I highly recommend McLaughlin Flooring and have already referred them to 3 people. I also needed a new staircase. Rick referred me to Max who he works with. I am in love with my new stairs. I will write a separate review for Max under Nord-Ost Railings. Thanks Rick and team for a wonderful experience.

During some recent renovations it was discovered that I may have some water issues coming from my attic. 3 companies responded to my service request and each came out the next day to investigate. The 2 other companies opened the hatch and looked inside and proceeded to tell me my insulation needed to be topped up (end of story). Richard from FanAttics was the only one who actually went into the attic to see what was going on. It was discovered that there was mould and the insulation was wet and not adequate. From the moment I met Richard it was clear he was knowledgeable and an expert at what he does. As this was a rather urgent situation Richard made sure he and his team came out to fix the situation immediately after the mould problem was addressed. He explained in detail what was going on in my attic and confirmed the water issues I was having (outside the house) was indeed coming from the attic. After removing all of the old insulation, they sealed all of the openings around the pipes and electrical outlets, added new baffles, re-sealed the vapour barrier where needed, sealed the attic hatch then added new clean insulation. The work area was left extremely clean. From start to finish my experience with FanAttics was extraordinary thanks to Richard. I highly recommend them. Thank you Richard and team.

After some recent renovations, I found that my attic was extremely wet and had lots of mold. Restoranation Inc was the 1st company to contact me after opening a service request on Home Stars. I explained the urgency of the situation. not only because of the mold but because I had other trades lined up back to back. Alex came out to look at the situation the next day and was able to schedule the job for the next day. Alex was very knowledgeable and professional. Charles & Arthur did the job. Everything they were going to do was explained to me. Before & after pictures were provided. The after pictures were amazing. Thanks to Alex and his team for acting so quickly and efficiently. I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know who is in the need for this service.

I needed a bathroom sink and faucet replaced and shut off valves installed. Jonathon contacted me very quickly. He was very responsive when I had questions. He was able to come in a couple of days. When he arrived he followed Covid protocols. The job was done quickly and with no issues. The area was left clean. Jonathon was very personable.
