We had About Painting paint our higher end home Sept 2012. Our home is cedar siding (painted, not stained), and was in rough shape. We had done alot of prep work, and replaced many boards so we had a mix of old and fresh wood. We found Greg at About Painting had the most thorough and quality painting plan for our home, to avoid problems in the future, making the finished product consistent and beautiful. Excellent advice for trim etc, their experience and care shows. Even the best paint goes only so far, the final product is only as good as the quality of the canvass under it. That was a selling point, they are the only company recommending or willing to prime the ENTIRE house before painting. We had 4 quotes, the price was mid-range and worth it! One other company was more affordable, but their painting plan raised red flags (thinned out spray on, only prime the bare wood). Along with the quote came 2 pages of referrals to see their work, no other company bothered proudly gave referrals up front. Greg - put us on that list! I was confident going into the agreement. Brett and team did a great job, cut lines are straight, coverage even on rough cedar is pure, and professional behavior on site. No spraying, brush and roll so we have a good layer on. Clean job, no paint on sidewalks, or our new driveway, etc. Follow-up is excellent, Blaine is detailed and thorough with ensuring we are 100% happy. We are very happy with the entire experience and will absolutely use About Painting in the future, and recommend to anyone. Good old fashioned service, ethics, professionalism, and quality.
