We appeared to have some rodent issues in the house we recently bought and were looking for an experienced company to help us out. We were lucky enough to find Elementary Pest management and its exceptional owner Sean. Sean calmly discussed the issues we were having over the phone and arranged to come out for a free inspection the next day. He arrived right on time with a clearly marked van and wearing company-branded clothes. He carefully inspected our entire property for issues and pointed out all the places where we may experience pest problems, including giving us advice on what to look out for in future. He looked at the droppings left in our basement and straight away identified that our issue was with rats. He informed us that if you have rats in a place you won't also have mice there, which was a relief. He then offered to deal with the problem by putting out bait stations and gave us a quote for this service. We decided that the price for this service was reasonable, wanted the issue sorted and so agreed to go ahead. Sean then went back to his van and quickly set up 5 bait stations, which he placed both inside, at the site of the issue and around the perimeter of our property. He also mixed up a solution to deal with the rodent smell in our basement. He then arranged to come back in two weeks to check and refill the bait stations again. He was very accommodating when I had to reschedule this second appointment. He turned up again when we had agreed and checked all the different bait boxes. We were both very surprised to find that there was minimal activity. Despite me pulling out my credit card to pay for this second visit he refused to be paid as he did not have to restock the stations. I am very grateful for Sean's excellent service, detailed explanations of all the issues and overall professionalism and would strongly recommend him as the 'elementary' choice if you have any unwanted little guests around your property.
