After trying other companies, I was drawn to Hometurf because it is a business built by a family and run by a family. They have not let me down: I have found Hometurf to be capable, professional and quick to respond to any issues which might develop. This year I called about a troublesome small patch in my lawn. A Hometurf representative was at my door the next day to look after it. Excellent service at a fair price.

Owner Todd arrived on time to give us an estimate. He was quick, polite and informative about choice of paints. His crew was efficient and cheerful and even re-built one of the posts which had lost a large sliver of wood. Any drops of paint were sanded off and smoothed away. As a bonus, they left a can of the finishing paint for subsequent touch-ups. Excellent work. Highly recommended.

Ours was a small project: a new front lawn. Zach came promptly, and gave us a fair estimate. His crew quickly and expertly stripped out our old lawn, laid down a triple-mix base, then fitted our new sod down, following the contours of our garden. Prompt, professional and at a fair price. Mike Arico handled the necessary paperwork for removal of our 54-year-old black maple. Then his crew removed the tree and ground down the stump . . . returning twice when all the stump was not satisfactorily removed. Excellent work! Gord Findlay, Etobicoke

Derek Phung (Employee 2393) arrived at 8.00 p.m., and did a superb job of maintenance and cleaning . . . even sealing off some joints in our furnace which were leaking air. He was quick, competent and cheerful. Hope we can get Derek again.

Following the Toronto July 8 storm, we contacted Slavic to install a backwater valve. His price was fair and competitive. He explained exactly how the job would be done, arrived precisely at the time promised, and was meticulous in protecting our basement from dust and dirt. The job was completed neatly and professionally -- for us and several of our neighbours who are equally pleased. Slavic will be doing other jobs for us in future. We cannot recommend him more highly..

GEM's Kevin came promptly at 10.00 a.m. put down protective covers on our carpet, and by 12.30 our new doors were installed. They are solid, easily locked, and fit beautifully. He left everything neat as a pin. Great work! Gordon & Janet Findlay, Etobicoke
