A sleek & attractive product but it stops working 2- 3 weeks after 6 service call. This is an expensive toy with little functionality. There is no aftersales help available.

This company came recommended by a friend. They provided a quote, gave a timeline, showed up to measure on the right date and time, and produced the produce ahead of time. They did did a highly professional job, cleaned up perfectly, gave careful instructions on how to allow the job to cure and left instrucion on the care. This was our second architectural job where we employed Sustainable.to and worked with Nicholas Discenza as our primary designer, but overseen by the principal, Paul Dowsett. I think the best endorsement, is repeat business! Nicholas is a good listener, and provides us with everything on our “want” list. He suggested many creative designs that suited our individual needs and so much more. We now have a brand new house with “street appeal” and functioning interior. Nicholas is the best and he remains professional even when things get tense and yes with construction, there are stresses. There is great talent at Sustainabl.to and Paul Dowsett is always in the background when problems arise and he always had resourceful workable solutions as complications arose that needed a solution. This architectural firm looks to the future in their design for sustainability. In areas such as energy consumption, environmentally friendly insulation and materials, good cross ventilation to keep the house cool without the use of Air Conditioning, a 50 year steel roof and proper water drainage. They also worked with us to design a house that we can live in, well into our senior years, with only minor modifications to accommodates. The esthetically pleasing colours and combinations were the suggestions of Nicholas who also worked closely with my own artistic training in Ikebana. Sustainable.to also recommended some wonderful suppliers and trades: KWeld (Burlington) for our custom stairs; New Steel Roofers; Hardie Board Siding and so much more. I did do my due diligence with suppliers and trades, even when recommended by Sustainable.to, to ensure compatibility. Our main contractor was Arundel Contracting of Georgetown, with Craig at the head, we were in skilled hands and an unflappable personality. We kept the Toronto Victorian exterior but the interior is very contemporary. We want to thank Nicholas Dicenza, Paul, Donald and all at Sustainable.to who helped us achieve a fully functioning and aesthetically pleasing house. Also for the support in getting us past those bumps and grinds of construction issues. We are thrilled with the result! Thanks to all at Sustainable.to and especially to Nicholas Dicenza.

I decided to make the switch to Vacuflo after doing some research online. I bought a vacuum from them for my new house, but I haven’t used it since I haven’t moved yet. So this review is based on my experience with the sales guy and the installation. Sales-wise everything was okay. I didn’t have any problems. Unfortunately, the installation was another story. There were some communication issues with the installer who came. In my opinion, he also had some anger management problems. I told Vacuflo not to send him again, but they did anyway which I did not appreciate. The sales guy I would give a 4 out of 5 and the installer a 2 out of 5.

A company with a neat concept of wrapping cars with a vinyl designs, but they are missing any form of customer service and quality control. On the advice of our architect, we hired Toronto Car Wrap to cover our vinyl garage door, to counter the graffiti. The concept was innovative and fun but we encountered all kinds of problems with this company. They are difficult to deal with from the get go. It was like pulling teeth to get them to schedule the job, with offhand communication and finally when they did come they installed a product with a design defect which they installed without any intelligent thought process as if this was normal. Since them the communication issues have worsen (if that was possible) and they schedule to come and fix the job but never show disrespecting my time to arrange that someone is home. This company is poorly administered, lacks any cohesive organization or ability to plan, has a nonexistent customer service policy, no quality control, no trained staff and both the owner and the administration Fred and Barb are curt even before we had issues the defective product. Its been 2 months now or trying to obtain some corrective action from the owner Fred fred@torontocarwrap.com or his assistant Barb. They keep stating a date they will come to correct the problem then don’t show up . I stay home or arrange for a daughter to be home, but nothing. It’s a crap shoot dealing with this company. The only option I have left now is to request a Chare back from my credit card company.

Co-owner Paul and Joe came at 5 PM and did a 110% job on our newely purchased 100 year old house with 100 years of crud in the ducts. Some of the ducts were blocked where previoius owners had covered it over. They went over board to make tit possible to clean possilbe insptie of all the obsticles, and they even fixed some problems by opening the duct work and broke open the sealed in duct work. They were on time, polite, did a fantastic job at a competitve price. They were even fun to deal with. I highly recommend these guys.

When a condo was approved that was going to destroy our backyard privacy and serenity, in the Dufferin Grove area, we shuddered! Lucky for us we found Paul Dowsett of sustainable.to, who in turn assigned Nicholas Discenza to be our Jr. Architect. Sustainable.to is a very professional company to work with, who are easy to communicate with in that they are fast, efficiently, respectful and well organized, polite and respectful, and the icing on the cake is that they are fun to work with . The office is made up of the a very cohesive group of positive talent and the energy is contagious, and its easy to see where this positive energy comes from, straight from the top. Paul provides great enthusiasm, and leadership to his staff yet lets them be creative. He has carefully chosen a group of impressive young professionals. This is an outfit that listens to the customer’s wishes. They delivered a design I requested and envisioned, and even better! When I spoke with Nicholas as to the 3 Aesthetic principles he did his research and came up with the design for our car port using the ancient Japanese technique of charring wood, called Shou-sugi-ban, whose finish is a rich dark silvery textured charcoal finish on cedar, which acts as both a preservative and “reduces flammability”. It was such a pleasure to deal with this group that we have hired them again to design and modernize our newly purchased Victorian home in the west end of Toronto.
