The owner of this company called me right after I put my request through the Homestars site. He listened to what I needed and set up an appointment for a service person to come to my home the next day. We had discussed that my air conditioning unit would be looked at and fixed if possible and if not possible to fix, a new unit will be installed. He gave me the price of a new unit, which was very reasonable. The Service person examined my current central air conditioning unit and advised it was so old that the government laws wont allow them to fill it so a new unit was installed. It works great. I am so pleased with the communication that the owner and I had, that the problem was resolved in 1 day, that the price for the service snd new unit was so good and that I am living in comfort with the new air conditioning. I would definitely recommend this company fir your air conditioning needs. The service man who put the unit in even went to Hime Depot to buy the required filter I needed for my furnace , in order for the unit to work at its best and to allow my warranty for the unit (10 yrs), to be in place.

The fixture in my old shower konked out so I decided to get the complete shower replaced instead of trying to find tile to match up where old tile would have to be removed in order to replace fixture. From the first time I spoke to Todd, the owner of the company, I knew he had the experience I needed. He gave me a quote over the phone, based on me telling him what the problem was. He then came out to see the problem to confirm what needed to be done & the quote amount was the same. He met my husband who was born with Juvenile Rhematoid Arthritis & has had both ankles, knees, hips & shoulders replaced. When I told him that my husband has difficult getting his leg over the current bathtub, he advised we could replace the tub with a shower unit/floor instead & if we are tearing out old anyway, that he could get a price on this & will call me back. When he called me the next day he said the shower floor/unit & extra tiles/grouting needed would cost $320 more, which was his cost, not including labour. I told him due to being on a tight budget, we will just go with the tub & the original quote. Later that evening, I spoke with Todd on the phone & he said based on meeting my husband, he could see that the shower instead of tub, would be the best option for him; however, he understands my budget requirements so he would like to split the cost (of $320) with me so I would only have to pay $160 to get the shower unit & extra tiling needed. I was so shocked that Todd would notice my husband's needs, & that he would be willing to cover 1/2 of the cost of the tiling & shower unit. I was very impressed by his thoughtfulness. I decided to take him up on the offer & have him do the shower instead of tub. He was always very pleasant to deal with & really knows his "stuff". I am very happy with the job he did; the staff made sure to clean up & take away all debris from the reno & based on research I did, I feel the price he charged for the work done was resonable. He tore out old tub, tiles, drywall, fixture & replaced it with mold resistant drywall,new tile from floor to ceiling, new MOEN fixture, 2 ceramic shelves, repared bathroom wall & securely put back safety bar for my husband to hold onto in shower, All of this was done for $1850.00. He did the job on time & with good quality. I am happy to recommend T.D.C Contracting for bathroom/shower renovation & will definetely call Todd for future renovation projects as he doesn't just do bathrooms. I know I will need work of some kind done in my home in the future so will be giving Todd a call again.

Great work done at a reasonable cosy. Quote was quite a bit lower than another company I had called. Service was excellent. I am very satisfied/happy with the job completed & service received.

I was happy with the work & service of both my central air conditioning installation & then a year later the cleaning & inspection. The Salesman, "Rick" went above & beyond by picking up a filter for me, after I paid for it through the office, over the phone. Rick lives in Oshawa so allowed me to pick it up from him instead of me having to drive all the way to Markham to pick it up. That was fantastic service, which I really appreciated.

Estimate was reasonable, compared to another contractor I got a quote from. Work was done quickly with no problems. I was very satisfied with the work, the contractor & the price. Service was great!

The price was very resonable for work that was done. We had a few estimates & found the price was the best we could find in the area & was lower than what I paid at a previous address for the same job. In addition to doing the job he was hired for, the Electrician took down an old, delapitated, hanging fan from the kitchen, & replaced it with a simple fixutre; he also changed lightbulbs in the hall fixture that we thought wasn't working. He did this without charging extra. We were so impressed by this & feel he did a fantastic job!
