We moved from Montreal to Toronto and although specifically we had told them that they should not sub-contract our business, on both occassions the loaders and unloaders confirmed that they were sub-contracted by Troy Moving, and were NOT part of Troy Moving. It was a miracle that they even showed up on the right date as we had just luckily called to confirm the pick up date and found out that the booking date at their end was wrong and they never even bothered to call to confirm the bookings. Its a constant chase to get someone to respond to our emails or phone calls. I had an email confirmation of the pick up date, however Troy Moving claimed it was a mistake on our part! It's now been 4 weeks since we have moved to our place and the furniture pieces that were lost or broken, we have had no follow up. I have to call and call to get a response, the main contact who was super nice prior to the move date, seems almost impossible to get a hold of. We have submitted the claim but have faced so much unnecessary stress as we feel our hands are tied behind our back. It has been a very painful and bad experience dealing with them and we have had difficultly getting a straight answer from them. I would suggest that someone from the top management looks into the issue and we are compensated accordingly for our loss and the suffering that we have had to face in the hands of mismanagement. I would not recommend Tory Moving service and I will not be using their services again.
