Found these 2 guys on Kijiji (Ali and najeeb). They showed up on time and gave me fair pricing. We are absolutely pleased with the work and the experience. I'm very happy with gunn landscaping! I met adam via kijji . He showed up which is usually the hardest part lol, quoted and got my business. He and his helper/wife worked hard and efficiently. I usually have bad luck with contractors. So I did a lil test on him. I gave him 3/4 of the money up front , normally contractors never show back up till money finishes. Then there's a mad rush to finish the work. Adam didn't do this. This guy is the real deal !! Good convos with him and wife. World traveller. Boat dweller .. Super cool. Give this guy a go. Hired these guys from homestars..I was so impressed with the techs knowledge of chimneys.I gave him a card and said "id hire you in a minute,and if you ever need work call me".. Hired dms plumbing via referral of a friend. Originally we had a party and someone left our toilet running burning out our well pump..Called dms in a panic cause we didn't have water.At this point AL was on the case sending his son Scott and his helper Barney down..They at this point informed me my well pump was shot(btw@6pm)!! Scott and barney quickly ran back up north to where ever their from near Peterborough to get parts by 9pm they were back pulling out my pump from 220 feet below..lol..they did new wiring,new pump,new black hose and some valve thing on my pressure tank..1 am and they were done.. Overall,what more can u ask for? Scott and barney are really funny and personable.. Al will make great small talk with you and make you laugh. I also just had some heavy renos done on my home..We had a new custom kitchen done and bathroom..I had dms do the faucets and new toilets..Scott and Josh came again and rocked the job out in no time flat again..Good stuff keep it up!!! We were unhappy with our well water and did some research and found we had a major problem.We contacted several companies to assess the the issues.We had quotes ranging from $4000-$16000,yet no one could say if "for sure" it would fix our brown nasty stinking water.. Being that we could t wash our whites and our water smelled like blood,lol(not joking) after a year i called Tim over there cause they are based in Whitby(up the street).. Tim was confident and knows his H2o and said he can fix the problem..I said great,how much!?It was a hair under 5 grand with taxes.Being that was my slower time(work) i was very hesitant..So he gave me no interest equal 5 months payments..Came u believe that..Awesome people! The tech was great and once again knew his business,smiled alot,worked hard and got it done..Im happy and will vouch for these guys..

Contacted Issac via a google search..He answered the phone and promptly came over for a quote. 18 hours later i have eaves and gutters on my new garage in whitby..Work looks great! Great phone manner and excellent service ..U can trust this guy..

We found out about Valentini from a customer we were doing a duct cleaning job for, in Whitby.Within in our first meeting we knew we found the right guys. Although because I’m really cheap and only a "duct cleaner" I had to check around. The other companies didn’t even compare I had one company quote me $33,000 and when I said that’s too much they said,hows $14000 cash?..Lol what a joke! So after I did my routine of checking around finally just went ahead. The wait was somewhat long but exactly what they said it would be. The service/install that was provided from Tony and Willy is and was perfect. We are so happy with Piero and his brother and Willy and would recommend them to anyone wanting a super high end kitchen (or any budget).Our kitchen looks like the ones on MTV cribs, it’s awesome! So when your trying to decide on contractors to do this kind of reno i will personally vouch for their work, quality, service and value..Awesome work! Joe Henhawk

Found Cooper tile through a referal from a friend.I found them to be really neat and tidey.We are really impresed with his design and quality of install.We had them do 600 sqft of slate in a cobble pattern,a glass/marble shower and a backsplash and fireplace.Prices were great and i would completely recommend them to anyone.. I will follow this review with some photos once the reno is complete..Thank u Cooper..

Found Steve(hardwood specialists)through a referral from a friend.We found his price and quality to be simply fantastic,so say the least.You shall feel perfectly at peace with him in your home and with his work..Keep up the work Steve!

Where do i begin? i found citi line moving on kijji oshawa(first problem) i spoke to "harry" who is also "joe"btw and one more name i forget..He seemed fine on the phone and said they could accomandate my date."Harry" quoted me $65 per hour,plus 2 hours travel time from woodbridge to oshawa there and back,also fine.In my mind i thought even if they take the time and take 10-12 hours who cares at that price.So moving day comes up fast and they're a half hour late,no biggie. Once they arrive we are greeted by 3 guys who proceed to start chuckin my crap in the truck with no care in the world.They didnt lay down drop cloths they left theyre salty boots on my off white austrailan wool carpet$25 per sq foot!They packed the truck 25% full(no moving blankets) and then demanned a $1000 deposit! I kindly told them NO way and the guy got mouthy so i said ill fire you and unpack it myself and they can go..He quickly got on the phone with "harry" and he said he could do less..At this point i felt like,"this will be a long day"..We finally packed the entire house and left.Now from where i moved too it is 4.3km from my old house,7 min drive TOPs.45 mins for citiline! Once they arrived they sat in the driveway for another 45 mins.I finally went up to the door and asked "is theyre a issue or something"? The driver said no he was making up the bill,BILL! How can you make a bill before the job is done,i asked? He rolled up the window..At this point i knew there was going to be issues so i called my friends,because they were 3 and i was one with my wife and 2 daughters. Finally they came out of the truck and gave me a bill of $1972..I freaked out!Thats double of the estimate "harry"gave me.I told them once the job is finished that id pay,im honest.He said "i'm locking the truck and you'll have to pay $180 per day storage plus more moving costs"!!!!!!WOW! And like a stroke from the gods 8 of my buddies came. Now at this point these guys are nervous now and are threatening to leave with my stuff.So we proceded to block them in with our cars,meanwhile i looked for bolt cutters to cut off the lock.So as im freaking out and ranting and cursing and looking for something to cut a lock off,My friends are getting real heated to put it gently. At this point my wife had to call the police before things went further.Once Durham region police arrived they listened to them and us and "stated they were tryin to scam us" with stair charges,heavy lifting charges,.37 km,etc etc..also 14 hours.at that point we are at 8 hours 1.5 of which is traveling 4.3km and making a bill! Long storey short,after the move,,DAMAGE DAMAGE DAMAGE!My stuff is scuffed and fridge is dented,I never want to move ever again..I hate this company and i also found is on citiline on Kijji oshawa which ill cut and paste below..PLEASE CHOOSE WISELY WITH MOVING COMPANIES..lEARN FROM ME!..GOOD LUCK! Kijji oshawa Date Listed 07-Jan-10 Address Oshawa View map I want to get the word out tonight about a scene that happened up in north oshawa with the movers Citi Line who have ads on here,they had a womans stuff packed up in the truck,and then gave her a final bill that was DOUBLE of what she was expecting to pay and when she asked for her belongings to be taken out because she couldnt pay it,and her son and friend would move them back upstairs they wouldnt have to do anything, they told her she couldnt get any of her money back....now come on people what is wrong with this picture,these two guys saw SUCKER written all over her and they blamed it on their boss saying it was his decision what a joke...this lady is a struggling single mother who didnt have alot of cash and is under an sherriffs order to vacate tomorrow,now thanks to these guys she is gonna lose everything,sorry she doesnt have 1000-1600 to pay for good movers...We dont treat people like that and believe me if it was their mother getting treated like that well they would probably blow a gasket!!!! of course they'll have their opinion BUT bottom line gentlemen you have $300 of hers and did not move her. If anyone reads this and has had problems with this company feel free to email me because i feel that maybe the papers should be brought into this and maybe court,and we could use some feedback. another one This company ripped me off big time. 3 hours into the move..the rude and horrible driver told me to give him and additional 700 dollars or he would not move me. I had already given him 300 dollars. I cried and call the head office and the fellow on the phone was just has horrible. This company ended up costing me 1000 dollars and didn't even move my whole house, I had to rent a uhaul and go back for the rest of my belongings the next day. They showed up 1 and 1/2 hours late and were rude and spitting on my property right from the get go. Do yourself a favor.. keep away from this horrible band of theifs. I'm working with the better business burreau also. I don't want my money back,, they should be made to give it to haiti relief. We bought a 19 year old kinda custom home in north whitby.We were a tad overwhelmed with the purchase,brent did a amazing job going threw the home with a "fine tooth comb".He found little things that we couldn't even see because we were so wrapped up with the purchase! Brent made us feel very comfortable in a very un-comfortable time,"buying and selling is not fun"!!! I will feel very comfortable referring Classic to any of my friends or family...

Alex is the best!He will always have any work i have within my home.So far he's fixed a very bad basement which i had to fire the original contractor.Alex has also built a great deck for me,my 5 month olds room(weinscoting,trim,paint,carpet,elec),hardwood floor,kitchen,and more... Most recently he did a full kitchen(floors,cabinets,granite countertops etc)all for under 10k.We are so happy and will support him and refer him to anyone..Should someone ever need a reference from me call me direct 416 896 4799(personal cell) I will get some photos and upload them as soon as i have time..Joe

We were doing renos over the winter and got a phone call from a guy named paul.Paul worked for homeplas renovations and was looking for someone to display one of his doors.I was in the mood for spending so i told to come by. Once paul arrived he showed me the many doors he had available and how much they'd cost and how long it would take to order.We ended up choosing one that would take 6-8 weeks to deliver and install. The install of the door came right on the 6th week and was flawless.His workers worked hard,spoke little engish but were very nice and clean.They left no mess's and removed all garbage. Door looks great and i'm happy that i did it with homeplas...
