It is impossible to browse alone and at peace at the Brick. There is always a salesperson tagging along beside you, even when you say you are just browsing. It would be helpful if they at least had adequate knowledge about the products they are trying to sell but they do not at all. Last year, I purchased a dining room set from them, based on the fact that the salesperson told me that it was solid wood. However, I found out too late that it was actually wood veneer, not solid wood. They are also clueless about kitchen appliances. When asked why one fridge was more expensive compared to another similar-looking fridge of the same brand, a salesperson told me that it was because the more expensive one was more energy efficient. Turns out that actually the cheaper one was more energy efficient...
