Terri asked for a $1,000 deposit ahead of time, in August 2011 and promised to start work within the week. Terry never even bothered to start the work on our chimney. He simply pocketed the money and disappeared. He did not return calls. On at least 20 different occasions, Terry has promised to come by with a certified cheque or cash. 14 months after we had originally given him the deposit, he brought us a cheque written from the Venting Solutions account, that bounced. At least another 6 times he has made an appointment to come by with the money and stood us up. We keep calling and he keeps making appointments to bring us the money and then doesn't show up. As of November 2012, we have not received one cent back from our original deposit.

Strictly Liners did not return calls, and their number was disconnected. When the number was connected again in the spring, we were promised that the owner himself would come by and issue us a refund. Of course he never showed up. Eventually we had to pay to have a different company complete the work. We still have not received a refund from Strictly Liners. This is theft, plain and simple.
