Backyard landscaping project- patio and garden
We recently bought a new home with a blank slate for a backyard. We sketched out what we had in mind for a patio and garden. When we approached Jason about our project, he met with us to answer our questions and ask some questions of his own. He made some recommendations for improving our initial plans and when asked, gave his opinion on types of stone and plants we were considering. We appreciated his input and his willingness to let us make the final decisions. We were impressed by a number of aspects of his work on the job: 1. He gave us an extensive breakdown of the costs in his estimate. He also took the time to explain where estimates from other landscapers could vary- ie the depth of digging down for the garden and patio 2. We paid the suppliers directly. (no markup in cost) 3. He finished the job on time and according to his estimate. (he even lost a member of his team during the project, but still finished on time) 4. He went the extra mile to make sure the job was done properly. For example, our new patio goes right up to the edge of our house. He took the time to put an extension on the downspout of the eavestrough, and run it underground away from the patio. And, he patched up the grass at the end of the job not just where he had been working but also in other spots where the grass had died. Overall, we were very happy with his work and we love our new backyard!
