We ordered pre-hung doors and bi-fold doors for our basement. Due to variations in the basement ceiling height (boxed in duct work), the height of the doors needed to be customized. The staff at Windsor was very professional and helpful. The doors needed to be ordered in and customized in the shop. We were notified by phone at each step in the process. Windsor is more expensive than purchasing doors from big box stores, but the additional customization service is worth the money. I highly recommend Windsor!

We shopped at Home Depot to purchase supplies and material to finish our basement bathroom. We purchased a bathtub, toilet, vanity (including fixtures), tile for tub surround and linoleum flooring. Home Depot has decent selection and, most importantly, was very price competitive! The staff at Home Depot are less knowledgeable than at other local hardware stores such as Totem so I typically restrict my Home Depot purchases to items that I do not need much installation advice on. All in all, I would rate Home Depot excellent for price competitiveness and convenience and mediocre for service.

This review is regarding a garage package purchased in April 2009. The service desk staff that assisted us was very professional and knowledgeable. We ordered a detached garage package with customized siding to match our house. When I had to come in a few days later to change the roof pitch to match the neighborhood requirements, the process was seamless and there were no issues. The garage package arrived on-time and all of the contents were present and in good condition. My only complaint would be that the instruction guide and DVD was lacking in detail. Luckily I had a few recruits who had construction experience so there were no problems. I have been back to Totem many times since!

The sale's person that we dealt with was professional and accommodating. We were very happy with their services and work hire them again.
