Well I did'nt get any surprise with my purchase of a dishwasher and stove. I checked Comsumers Report first and I'm quite satified. They were delivered on time and the delivery men were very careful during the delivery and setting up. Why did I give Sears a 6 instead of a 10? It's because of the 20% restocking fee if you have to return major appliances that 20% can hit pretty hard when your purchase is over $1,000.00.

My kitchen cupboards were in good condition, strong and sturdy but they needed updated. The new doors would have to be custom made. Being a do-it-yourself type, I made two trips to their showroom. I was shown a variety of doors and countertop colours and chips before deciding on one design. It was to be new doors on old frames and they told me how the doors would not completely hide the frames. They came and measured up and installed the lamination to the frames that would be exposed. They delivered the doors and instructed me how to install them. Everything went perfect, even installing the countertop and sink myself. My impression is that CANLINK is tops in the business, truthful, honest and very helpful to do-it-yourself types like myself. My one regret is that I did not install a granite countertop as they suggested. I took their advice on everything else and I should have taken their advice on that one. William McDonald Toronto
