We had an old coal fire place that had a fairly small fire box and wanted to see what could be done to convert it to something wood burning. After some initial research we thought a wood burning insert would be the best approach. Out of four companies we spoke to, two refused to even come out to see us, saying what we wanted to do was impossible, one came out and looked and proceeded to tell us all the reasons it would not work and failed to deliver a quote despite assuring us we would have on within a week or two. Dave, on the other hand, came out twice to see us and rather than tell us why it couldn't be done, worked with us to come up with a great solution to install a wood burning insert after making some changes to the face of the existing fireplace. My wife and I were able to enjoy our first evening by our new fireplace last night. Throughout the entire process Dave was very upfront about cost and level of effort involved and always left the work area neat and tidy at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend speaking with Dave for any work you need.

My Wife and I bought a house in March and had Express Rooter come in and quote on some work that the home inspector suggested we have done.
