The carpeting on our basement stairs and TV room were soiled and needed a good cleaning. I decided to give Reliable Carpet a call. It was a good decision. Everyone I have dealt with on the Reliable team is great and the cleaning was done to our satisfaction. Ivan was the technician who came in to do the cleaning. He is knowledgeable and welcomed my questions. I also found him to be personable, polite, detail-oriented, conscientious and thorough. After the work was completed and the cleaning solution dried, it appeared that the stairs needed more attention. I contacted Lindsay at Reliable who offered to have the stairs redone so that we are satisfied with the work. Gord and Dave came in to deal with the issue at hand. Both are very pleasant, conscientious and they did a good job. Based on the carpet cleaning we needed, we highly recommend Reliable. What a responsive and courteous team. A job well done! Thank you. We had been hearing sounds in the attic and believed we had animals getting in. I wanted a reputable company that would find out how animals were getting into the attic, to remove them and to prevent any further animals from getting in. I went on to HomeStars and liked what I read about Gates Wildlife Control. I called them to find out a little more about their services, cost and to schedule an appointment. We were impressed. Blake is professional, experienced, knowledgeable and pleasant. He determined that squirrels were getting into our attic, and found how they were getting in. He blocked off the access point, set up a trap to remove them and prevented them from getting in. We’re very pleased with Gates and highly recommend their services and Blake. Thank you. Pat

We tend to go to HomeStars for recommended service providers. This time, we were looking to restore the dark wood wainscoting and staircase in our front hall, and to restore the wainscoting in our dining room. The positive reviews on Mister Wood stood out. Darlene is knowledgeable, friendly and along with her very competent and professional team of Bob, Jeremy and Matt, they did an excellent job in restoring the wood that included stripping the stain, sanding the wood, restaining and lacquering. It is a very labour intensive job. We are delighted with the quality work and excellent results. We highly recommend Mister Wood.

We needed to have a tree cut down in our yard so I went to Homestars looking for a couple of tree service providers that were highly recommended by customers. I contacted a couple of companies and found they were not reliable. CB Tree Service clearly stood out. The many comments about CB really reinforce a professional, friendly, responsive, reliable, and quality service organization provided by Craig and his very competent team. The quote for the job was reasonable and the job was completed according to schedule. Not only was the tree cut down, the wood was cut up, neatly piled and the clean-up job was perfect. I really do believe CB Tree Service should be held as a model of a quality service organization. Excellent job!

We heard about Homestars and went to the site in search of someone to paint the exterior of our house. We called Renaissance as the comments were positive, and scores were high. Jason has a strong customer focus - always getting back to us on a timely basis, and making sure everything is going well and according to plan. He promptly made arrangements to have Vaso come over to quote us on the job. Vaso and his team work quickly. In particular, Nick did a fine job with the pre-work; his painting skills are excellent. We are very pleased with the outcome. It was a pleasure dealing with Renaissance!
