Fridge leaking internally, especially when we put the water filter in. Diagnostic visit scheduled, repair man said that we had compressor issues and it needed to be replaced. Asked for clarification as the fridge was still cooling. Told us fridge was made with a new freon system and the compressor would eventually fail. They assured us it was not the water filter. We replaced the water filter and leak stopped. Meanwhile they provided us a quote to fix the fridge at $1,573.48 with tax. Desription of work required below: 1) Connection to the sealed system of refrigerator. 2) Testing the system on leaks and malfunctions 3) Sealing leaks and necessary parts replacement (Necessary Parts are Extra prices depending on brand and model) 4) Sealing the system and charging with Cooling Freon. Labour Includes all gases used during testing and Freon recharging the system as well as all soldering or locking tool connections. UPDATE 10/13/2022 Was contacted by owner of company today: - Took ownership for the mistake - Proactively processed a refund for the diagnostic fee of $120 - Is shipping us a replacement water filter free of charge I do appreciate the fact that they reacted to this and tried to make amends.
