Moved into my home about 10 years ago and got J&S to change the furnaces, and water heaters and other gas, plumbing and electrical work - thousands of dollars in work. They were good back then and I would have sung their praises to anyone who would listen. Recently, the ownership changed and now it's all about the money grab. No customer loyalty, poor customer service, shoddy workmanship, and much, much worse. One of thee furnaces that they originally changed was giving us issues, so they came in and said we needed to change it. It was still under warranty. They replaced it with a "new" and "better" furnace at no cost. They also cut a huge hole in a duct because it "needed more air." Despite asking for warranty info, they never produced it - their office manager said she was still learning how to get that paperwork together and would send it out soon. Time passed and I forgot to follow up. That was a few years ago. Recently, had someone from another company come out to quote us on a new humidifier for the furnace and they told us that the replaced furnace was actually older than the one they took away and was out of warranty. They looked at the hold in the ductwork and said that should never have been done because it was drawing stale air from the ceiling cavity into the furnace, not air from the house. Contacted J&S and all they would say was "we no longer do gas work" - yet 4 weeks earlier they had called me up to renew my "membership" which included gas work. Stay clear from J&S services and find a reputable company.

Ryan is extremely professional and takes immense pride in his work. From his arrival to quote on our project to his final attendance to complete the work at our home, Ryan was always courteous and friendly. Ryan is knowledgeable and resourceful and provided a solution to our problem that will last for years to come - not just a quick fix that will have to be redone in a year or two.  He was efficient and organized in advance of attending and came with all of the tools and materials he needed for the job.  No supervision needed - he knew what had to be done and just got on with his work. Ryan was respectful of our time - he arrived when he said he would and if he couldn't attend because of inclement weather, he gave plenty of notice so that we could make other plans and weren't waiting around for him. Ryan worked clean and always tidied up before leaving.  This was important when he was cutting meal flashing, as small pieces of sharp metal could easily have caused injuries - but Ryan made sure that the work area was clean each day before leaving.  Even where he had to do chaulking, it was neat with a clean, even bead. We are very impressed by Ryan's attention to detail, his professionalism and work ethic.  I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Ryan and Impact Exteriors to others, and will definitely be using his services again.
