I needed a prefab shower unit removed and a tiled shower installed in my basement bathroom. Sam of STS Homes gave a reasonable quote and time frame for completion of the work. The quote clearly explained the work to be done, the amount required as a deposit and payments required as work progressed. He provided electronic photos of other shower jobs so I had ideas of tile size and color options. I narrowed down to subway tiles for the walls and white with gray veins for color. Samples were brought to my home for final color selection. Sam did a great job coordinating when workers would be at my house and kept me informed. The workers were professional, polite and strove to keep the surrounding area clean. Occasionally I was asked to make minor decisions on the work and I would ask the workers to explain the pros and cons of the options. I always felt they were knowledgeable and sincere in their answers. The work was completed on time and I am very pleased with my new shower. I would definitely recommend STS Homes.

My old garage door had become increasingly hard to lift open. Ollie from Garage Door Geeks came and diagnosed the problem ( a combination of the door dragging against the metal door frame and years worth of gum-like grease ). He described what needed to be done and said he could do the work on the spot. Forty minutes later a miracle had occurred!! Thank you Ollie for your friendly service and professional knowledge. I am very pleased with the steel door and aluminum storm door. Looks great inside and outside. Both doors were installed neatly and have a snug fit. The new lock works smoothly. The new interior wood trim just needed a coat of paint to finish the look. I know I didn't need a storm door but that was my choice so that porch deliveries could be placed between the doors. The installers clearly know what they are doing. Several years ago I had another installer/company install a steel door and storm door at the side entrance and the doors were anything but a snug fit. I would definitely recommend A&J Windows and Doors.
