I called Efficiency First and got a fairly fast appointment for a quote. It is a very old home, and in one area, the insulation was installed incorrectly. It had become moldy and needed to be removed before we could progress. Shawn came on time and did a professional assessment and also understood what was needed to take advantage of the rebates available. He also gave us confidence that things would be done as promised. A dumpster was required and arranged. The work was done on time and to specification. The whole home was done. Basement, main attic, and the problem area in the extension. Great Job all around!

Yesterday was the scheduled day for my annual Boiler maintenance. Kyle was right on time. I also knew it would be Kyle because I ask for him each year. This year some water had been pooling under the pressure valve which I thought could be a huge problem. Kyle checked this and discovered that the water was actually condensate leaking from the external copper tube connected to the floor drain. It had been “eaten” through. He replaced it with a plastic one and I have my peace of mind back. Thank you!
