I found Green & Spotless through Homestars website, got the quote via email and booked an appointment within a week and was happy I hired them. Showed me all the dust & debris from my vents after renovation, cleaned my carpets with incredible results - 99% of old stains were removed. The slate tiles in the foyer looked like new after cleaning, they also sealed them as well to keep it clean longer. Thank you so much for the great work, and I will be using their services in the future.

Found Tommy in Homestars, called and told him it's a small repair job, he showed up punctually calling ahead. He replaced a bent track, fixed a non-working remote control, tweaked everything. Was as polite and professional as can be, did not try to upsell me, just pointed out a few things to watch for future. EXEMPLARY SMALL-SERVICE CALL. Zero 'tude' because it was a small job. One day I'll put in two high end insulated doors, maybe in a year and will call no one else. If he's this professional AND REASONABLY PRICED on a small job ... shop no further! Good as it gets.

The Mancuso team just completed my large circular driveway. Perfect job. Always on time. Polite, nice guys. Easy to deal with. Best quote I received out of four as well -- and I knew what specs I wanted in advance. So it's not just a perfect job but also the best price. I just liked and trusted Frank their rep, who happens to be one of two brothers who are running it daily. The other brother is hands-on in the actual paving. There was a large tree root they needed to remove and came back immediately when I called that the arborist had removed the tree -- Mancuso did a fine job of this as well. Plus I added the request to bury a couple 3" ABS pipes as cross-driveway sprinkler and electric conduit, no problem. Personally, I'm as pleased as can be -- I'd never call anyone else for my paving work, either privately or commercially. I happen to be a very experienced commercial builder, not just a homeowner, so know excellent from average.

Brent Reigner of Upper Canada Roofing Company applied on a new high-end roof on my home in the fall of 2010. My house is worth ballpark $2 million and has a very complex roof, is in a nice district, so the quality and appearance for re-sale are very important to me – not just functionality. My choice of materials, after consulting with Brent, was Certaineed Grand Manor Colonial Slate which can be seen at: http://www.certainteed.com/products/roofing/residential/luxury/308581# Its excellent product BTW, very 3-dimensional, thick and a very slate-like appearance. Brent came highly recommended by a former employee who was once also a high-end cedar roofer. The shingle manufacturer's rep also spoke very highly of him. Bottom line is Brent and his guys did a perfect job. It looks excellent with many technical details which are far beyond the average job. Clean-up was perfect daily. It has been a year now, with much heavy snow and ice on the roof and no leaks. The aesthetics are superb. Both the workmanship and materials get my highest rating – and I am an experienced builder. This is not my first new roof! Brent’s colleague also did eaves troughs for me very reasonably. I replaced a cedar roof with high-end asphalt with Brent’s agreement, even though he is a cedar specialist and cedar would have cost less than what I chose. My reasons had mainly to do with abundant trees surrounding my house and constant wet leaves on the roof. Brent is an honest guy and can be totally trusted in a business arrangement. He is meticulous and extremely proud of his skilled knowledge and workmanship. He goes way beyond “sufficient” to “doing it right.” There are many cheaper short cuts available in roofing and Brent does not take them. I’d give his work a rating of 11 on a scale of 10. On thing: Brent does not show up in a business suit and shiny sedan. He is all-work and looks the part, as does his pick-up truck. If you need an MBA-grad to give you a quote, look elsewhere and pay too much for worse work. I know of what I speak! Look past the appearances and get the job done RIGHT by the rare tradesman who is meticulous and professional, waaay beyond the norm.
