Assisted Review

An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.

We are the first time buyers and completely inexperienced in Canadian construction. We asked Yuri Olhovsky from Home inspections 4U to help us on a pre-delivery inspection. When we came for the inspection, the house was not completed. Much of the interior work was not done, and we had to re-schedule the PDI. Yuri was available to acommodate our requested time again and arrived promptly. He was very thorough and detailed, pointing out lots of big and small items that builder included into his PDI form. Yuri answered all our questions and was very professional in his approach. We were very satisfied with Yuri's services and would recommend him to everyone who is looking for honest and knowledgeable inspector.

Company Response

Thank you, Eugene. All houses have their share of deficiencies, whether new or old. I'm sure many small items will be rectified by the builder during the first month. Your first year in the house will be an important milestone for submission of one year warranty form. We can conduct another inspection at the end of the first year if it will be necessary. Congratulations and good luck with your new house!
