Tuckpointing on exterior brick wall
I had some serious crumbling mortar that I had made some very amateur attempts to fix over the last few years, but I finally decided to hire a professional. A&A's quote was exactly the same as the one I received from my general contractor, but for this job, I wanted to hire a specialist. From the initial estimate, through to the timely start and completion of the project, and ending with a follow-up call from the owner, working with A&A was a pleasure. This review is about a month late, so I've forgotten some names. The estimator (Pierre?) was a great, personable guy who took the time to explain, advise, and document the work that would be done. The two guys that arrived to do the job also took the time to answer all my questions, provide their professional opinion on the original brick work and the reasons why they were going to take the approach they did, and even provided a bit of extra repairs beyond what I was expecting from the quote. They finished in two days, and cleaned up so that I never knew they were there. Great job all around and I would not hesitate to recommend A&A--in fact, someone in my neighbourhood, who must have noticed the work when it was being done, asked me who had done the job, and I gave them A&A's name without hesitation. Thanks again!

Thanks Tom! It was Joe & Kyle who did your job, and it's good to hear they are keeping up the good work. --Andy
