The landscaping project surrounding our residence ranks as the second largest contracting endeavor we have undertaken. Given our past encounters with various contractors, I approached the task of hiring a contractor for this particular landscaping venture with considerable skepticism. Over the course of this year, I had the opportunity to interview approximately 15 contractors specializing in interlocking and landscaping work across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Each contractor would inquire about my requirements, take precise measurements, prompt me to select colors from a catalog or their Instagram page, and subsequently provide a quotation. Surprisingly, some contractors failed to even inquire about the preferred color scheme or stone type. We dedicated nearly a week to carefully selecting the natural stone for our front porch, as well as the appropriate landscaping concrete for our driveway, side yard, and backyard. I am delighted to report that we opted for the thickest stone available, resulting in a visually appealing and robust final outcome. Julien proceeded to renovate our front porch using natural stone, removing the existing deck. He then diligently worked on our backyard, side entrance, and driveway, skillfully incorporating interlocking stone. Given the slope upon which our entire property was built, he expertly constructed retaining walls wherever necessary, ensuring a seamless and integrated appearance. Additionally, he went above and beyond by constructing flower beds for our enjoyment. I have taken the time to compose this detailed review solely because Julien has proven to be the most exceptional contractor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. His commitment to perfection and his self-critical nature greatly impressed me. He would not rest until he was completely satisfied with each task. Even when my wife and I requested design changes and additional features after the project was finalized, Julien remained patient and composed, never rushing to complete the work or displaying agitation. He consistently met and exceeded my expectations, delivering flawless results. Without a moment's hesitation, I will unquestionably reengage his services for any future projects and wholeheartedly recommend him to all my friends.
