After five different consultations we choose Nordik. Not only was Levi, our sales guy, patient with my design choices, he offered some exceptional knowledge and made sure that everything we picked qualified for the appropriate grants, etc. Mark and Nesh, on install day were professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. The job was done is less time than I expected, and no mess was left behind. They completely exceeded my expectations. We had no issues from start to finish and very happy with our choice. We have a few more windows to tackle on the feature and I won’t hesitate calling them again.

We had a relatively small move (two bedroom condo) to our new home in Oakville and required movers to help with some of the bigger pieces. I was quickly disappointed to find out that despite calling and leaving a number of messages for a variety of companies (even highly rated ones), very few actually ended up returning my calls! Perhaps it was the size of the job, or maybe it is a busy time? Surprisingly, Burl Oak not only called me back within the hour, I received a quick quote and they didn't shy away from the size of the job. Over email, Martin and I finalized the plans and timing for the day and he answered all of my questions promptly. The day before the move they called to confirm all the details / logistics. Day of, we had Rob and Brendan as our moving team. These guys were fast! They arrived on time, good communication on logistics and well as being organized. They managed to pack up the condo faster than anticipated and left no damage. They had all the equipment they needed to do the job well, and they worked well together. They were polite and very professional. On arrival, the efficiency continued. Big items like bedroom furniture that they had taken apart, was put back together and placed in the right rooms. I appreciated that care was taken to protect my carpets and flooring. They asked a number of questions to make sure everything was placed where it was supposed to go, and although fast - I never felt like they were rushing to finish the job. They were respectful of our space and little no mess behind. The invoice was as quoted (no surprises) and they finished on time. This was a very pleasant move experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thank you to from start to finish. A very polished experience that was stress free.

We recently purchased a home and the inspection confirmed that a number of items would require immediate update. This included our AC, furnace, hot water heater (that were all undersized for the home) and in rough shape. Both fireplaces in the home were out of date and had issues given that we have two little ones at home. We also needed to get bathroom vents installed in our bathrooms. Given the magnitude of all these projects, I did some research. I wanted to go with one provider who could tackle multiple jobs, project managed together. We also wanted this work done just prior to fully moving in. Not only could Appleby do much of the work, the reviews online were strong. With other providers, I either received partial quotes or was told contractors were needed / timelines would need to be extended or spread out over the course of weeks. This was not the case with Appleby. First, my early consultations were with Ryan. After completing an onsite evaluation, was able to provide expert advice on what we actually needed. We also talked about what was "must have" vs. "nice to have" - and I never felt like I was being "sold to". Together, we helped to prioritize the projects and landed on a final plan. I felt like I was adequately informed of where I may want to invest more into given my future usage patterns (i.e. AC) vs. where we may want something more standard given the infrastructure in our home (i.e., hot water tank vs. tank less). Ryan was professional, experienced and responsive. On the big day, Stephen (our main contact for the day) and his team showed up on time and ready to go. I can't even begin to describe how impressed we were with the team that showed up that day. I don't even think I could adequately list the names of entire crew (so I won't try) - but they were fantastic. In and out over the course of 8 hours, tackling each and every job on our list. The team obviously is used to working closely together and managed to efficiently tackle each job. If issues arose, it was helpful to have Stephen as our main point person to share updates and needed information. They were very professional and respected our our personal space while completing their needed tasks. All our old "junk" equipment was swiftly removed, with the new carefully brought in. No damage to our property and our home was left clean upon departure. When everything was done, Stephen took the time to walk us through each an every project to help complete any knowledge transfer. He was excellent and was patient with each and every question we had (and assured us we could reach out if we had any additional ones in the future). Our invoice came back as EXACTLY as quoted. There were no surprises - and in fact, we actually ended up receiving a number of rebates that put us under budget. Ryan dropped by over the course of the "big day" to make sure everything was going well, but also made sure to check in the days and weeks to follow to make sure everything was working as needed / expected. Given how hot this summer has been so far, our investment in a well functioning (right sized) HVAC system was worth every penny. I'm happy that we also now have the safety issues with the fireplaces resolved. All of our investments are now fully warrantied and are humming along as I write this review. We considered this big purchase an investment in our new home and I am glad that we choose to prioritize this type of work. I'm even more glad that we found Appleby who managed to make what could have been a very challenging series of jobs, a seamless and relatively stress free process. They will have our business moving forward. No questions. Thank you to the entire team that helped along the way. We are very happy and will not hesitate to recommend this company.

We recently purchased a new home that was desperately in need of a new roof. After contacting Bruce at CVR - we very quickly received an in person series of quotes, and his early consultation (and responsiveness) was exactly what we needed to make a decision. Bruce is clearly knowledgeable when in comes to this field and I appreciated his professional, prompt and transparent approach to explaining our next steps. On the day of installation, Bruce and his team were again - professional, on time and efficient. The crew was courteous and respected our privacy, and I could not believe that they managed to finish the entire job ahead of schedule. The clean up afterwards was thorough and the bill was exactly as quoted. Shortly thereafter, Bruce contacted us to complete any final inspections and confirm that our warranty was set up. We could not have asked for more. A big investment so happy to have been with a provider who made it easy and stress free. A sincere thank you to the whole team who worked on an incredibly hot day to get this job done.
