Using Homestars we were connected with the Dwayne and his team for our main floor re-tiling which included the kitchen, powder room and foyer. Dwayne was very knowledgeable and provided a detailed plan and estimate which didn't change even when we were delayed several months due to the pandemic. Dwayne provided excellent workmanship, within the time frame he estimated, and ensured we were able to comfortably live in the house while he was working.

We posted a service request on Homestars to have our stairs refinished and was contacted by Shah from this company. I gave him the details over the phone and was quoted a price. It took 7 days and back and forth text messages to settle on a date for the work to be completed. We finally settled on Tuesday, May 18. The Monday before I confirmed the appointment but later that afternoon Shah called back to ask to delay to Friday, May 21st as he had another job booked. I was under the impression that I was booked and though I had already re-arranged my work schedule I agreed. On Thursday, May 20, I again texted to confirm that they were coming. Shah said they were but informed me that the railing installer would not be working over the long weekend. I asked if he planned to leave me without railings for an entire long weekend. He said Yes! I told him that that wasn't safe and he said I could try to find someone else to install the railings if I wanted. I decided to cancel the work with them all together as I had spent two weeks trying to arrange this service, have been delayed once and then they planned to leave my house in un-safe conditions for a number of days.
