I was worried about the stress of moving on my aging parents who were moving into a retirement home. Previous movers were not too patient with them, but the staff at Avery were totally amazing! Patient, understanding and gentle with them while their belongings were packed into boxes and truck. Upon arrival, with my parents wandering in circles, exhausted, stressed and worn out, the 2 guys who were unloading were kind and got chairs unloaded and put them out of the way so my parents could sit while everything else came off the truck and filled up around them. The whole process from start to finish had moments of chaos, but everyone with Avery was kind and patient despite my parents getting in the way at times and it was a good day in the end. I’m sure that another moving company would have been shouting and angry and not as helpful and considerate as well as understanding during this stressful move. I highly recommend these people for any move, large or small! I couldn’t have managed without their help! My 3 hour drive home after an 8 hour day was good because everything in the new apartment was set up such that it felt like home and everything was in its place. Can’t thank Steve and his staff enough.
