We came home to find a leak in our basement ceiling. The water appeared to come from our kitchen upstairs and we were worried. We checked home stars and found New Canadian. We were very happy that we did. Our call was answered promptly and our plumber, Peter, arrived less than an hour later. Right on time. Though we had to cut a hole in the ceiling, we needed to see where the water was coming from and we would have had to repair it anyways. Peter quickly discovered that the water was coming from our fridge and he helped move it (to allow us to clean up) and he turned the water supply off. Peter is very friendly and very professional. All in all, it was a good experience and we were happy to pay for this service call. We would also be happy to use this company again!

We have undertaken four major renovations on our home over the last decade. Our most recent was .with Homecrest. We had worked with Dave Callaghan on another project and that great experience helped put our minds at ease for our basement reno. This was the most stress-free project that we completed and a lot of that was due to Dave. He was always very approachable, very calm, and very professional. Any questions were answered promptly. The job started on time and was completed on time and Dave was on-site every day. It was exciting to come home to see the progress that was being made. And the quality of the work was top-notch. Bathroom, laundry room, TV room, play area, exercise room. Of all the areas in the house, our basement is where we spend the most time. It has been two years since the work was completed and we still love our basement! Thank you, Dave!

We found Modern Appliance through Homestars and soon discovered why they had such high ratings. Peter came out to look at our range hood, dishwasher, washer and dryer. In addition to addressing the issues, he provided invaluable information on preventative maintenance and some buying tips for future purchases. Great guy, very knowledgeable, very approachable and honest. I have already recommended Peter to a few co-workers.

We just had our pool completed by Greg and his crew and we can't believe how beautiful it turned out! Our heartfelt gratitude to Greg, Dave, Martine and the rest of the team at Classic Pools for the amazing work they did for us. From start to finish, they were honest, knowledgeable, professional and dependable. Once they started our project, they didn't leave the job until it was completely finished. We have never met such hard working group of people; they've also impressed our neighbours who have watched them transform our backyard to an oasis. We have received many many compliments on our pool and landscaping and on the quality of work that was done. There were so many times during this project when we expressed how fortunate we were to have partnered with such a great team. We would never hesitate to recommend them to others.

Tom is the owner of the company and takes a very hands-on approach. He showed up on time and was very courteous. To help save us money, he recommended locks to buy on sale at other retailers and he installed them for us. When we had a small problem with one of the garage door locks, he came in promptly to fix it for free. We would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

My wife and I are in the final stages of our reno in Don Mills. We selected Top Line based largely on the reviews on this site and we weren't disappointed. The company sent the crew to our team at a time and date that worked best with our schedules (and the schedules of the other trades who were finishing up their work). In our case, this meant a Sunday morning time slot. They showed up on time, they were courteous, and very thorough. I had them clean the air conditioning and furnace after an inspection found them to be very dirty (not surprising considering the reno). Though this was an added cost, I never felt that I was being pressured or 'upsold' for something that I didn't need. They also gave me tips on buying filters for my furnace as the previous owners had not installed them correctly - basic information, but, as a new home owner, I appreciated it. Having dealt with a number of frustrating experiences with this reno, my dealings with Top Line were a welcome change. Quick, easy, high quality service. Based on our experiences, my parents will be using Top Line for their duct cleaning as well.
