I guess one would wonder why so low rating for a job well done. Installation exceptional and installer knew what he was doing and he consulted with me along the way. Servie on the other hand could be improved. From the initial visit, I found the salesstaff to be a bit reluctant to work with you and my guess is that they are more keen on working with builders than individual owners. I did preliminary measurements and ended up with 420sq feet including waste but when the estimator did his job, he came up with 440sq feet, thus ending up order one more box. When the install was completed, I ended up with one extra box. When I spoke to them, they said they wouldn't take the extra box back but somehow I am under the impression it's their error in calculation. Another issue was that we needed 2 reducers to transition from LivingRoom into the kitchen. Every other flooring company factored the cost of reducers but Weston Flooring assured me that they can use the flooring material to use as reducer. When the installer did the install, he recommended that option would not work and we had to end up ordering T-moulding which ended up costing me additional $70 and took another week to get done. Overall I am still pleased with the end result but somehow, I feel there is still some improvement could be done in terms of customer service. Lesson learned for me is that if all the other companies are factoring an item and if one company isn't, then you have to wonder if they really know what they are talking about or is it an oversight on their part.
