Incorrect information, misleading facts,
Raccon Problem. Called Skedaddle. Representative shows up and indicated that once the raccoon was trapped, I had two choices: release on my property or alternatively, I would have to euthanize it. I found this hard to believe that these were my only choices. He indicated that this was the provincial law and those were my only choices. I did in fact check the Act and Regulations and spoke with the provincial wildlife authorities. There was another option that the representative neglected to share. Once trapped, I could take the raccoon and deposit on crown land. I found his approach of not telling me everything very misleading and using the "you only have two choices" approach very underhanded into cornering a panicked client into signing a contract. When I called the company to give the facts, the response was "Oh you know the Act is quite complicated to understand"... I would not recommend this company. They are expensive and will use whatever tactics necessary to get you to sign a $2000+ contract.
