After carefully researching and reading reviews of companies that conduct dryer repair, we felt most comfortable calling Amar for the job. Our dryer was making a squeaking noise when running. Amar arrived promptly during the timeframe he provided. He was extremely knowledgeable, quickly diagnosed the issue, and had our dryer repaired in no time. He cleaned also out the entire unit, lubed up all of the components, and returned it to a like new condition. We had the pleasure of chatting with him afterwards. He is super friendly and we cannot be happier with the experience. If you need any type of appliance repair, I highly recommend calling Amar!

Wes did an amazing job and we are extremely happy and satisfied with the work he performed! We had an issue with a cracked ceramic shelf located in our shower which required removal. Since the shelf was glued directly onto ceramic tile, there was a chance of damaging the tile during the removal process, so we required someone with extensive knowledge of tiling and patience. We tracked down Wes on Homestars and after reading over the reviews, we reached out to him. Wes was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained what needed to be done in order to remove the shelf. We arranged an appointment and he showed up very promptly. Wes carefully worked away at removing the shelf, ensuring not to damage any tile. This was “artwork” that required a steady hand, patience, and knowledge. Wes managed to remove the shelf without causing even a single mark and removed all of the glue. He resealed areas that required it, cleaned the area very well, and left it looking spotless. By the time he was done, you would never have known that there was a cracked ceramic shelf glued in that spot! We have no doubt that if we hired the wrong company for the job, there is a good chance that they would have damaged our tile during the removal process, which would have led to a massively expensive repair job. So, Wes literally saved us! Before he left, he even took the time to help us assess another issue we were having in our home with mold building up on our caulking. We booked him in for that repair work as well. Wes is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell that his specialty is bathroom renovations. Actually, we’re lucky that he took on what are probably “small” jobs for him! Thank you again Wes!

Chris has been our go-to plumber ever since we moved to BC from Ontario. Chris is extremely prompt, very knowledgeable, honest, offers reasonable rates, and is always able to quickly diagnose and repair any issues. Shortly after we purchased our Strata unit several years ago, we noticed what appeared to be a water stain developing on our ceiling. After carefully researching our options for a plumber, we settled on Tulip Plumbing and Heating and we could not be happier with our decision. Chris arrived and immediately identified a faulty hose upstairs connected to our washing machine that was leaking. He also noted that our builder had incorrectly hooked up the water hoses to our washing machine so that every time we used it on a cold cycle, our clothing was actually being washed with hot water and vice versa when we selected a hot cycle. Our builder mixed up the hose connections! In almost no time, Chris replaced the faulty hose and ensured that the water hose was connected properly. Fast forward to March of this year and we once again noticed water damage though this time on our lower level near the entrance. We initially assumed that the issue was being caused by a problem with our retaining wall somehow allowing water to penetrate our foundation. We reached out to Chris once more and he again promptly arrived. Chris was able to quickly ascertain that the leak was not being caused by an issue with our retaining wall but rather by a dishwasher leak. To our surprise, Chris did not even charge us for his initial visit and instead mentioned that we could pay him after he installs our dishwasher, whenever the restoration work caused by the water damage was addressed by our insurance company. After the restoration work was completed by our insurance company, we called Chris and he arranged to promptly install our new dishwasher. Being that we just replaced our damaged floor in front of our old leaky dishwasher, we were of course concerned about possible scratches to the floor during the dishwasher installation process. Chris of course managed to install our new dishwasher in no time without causing a single mark on our floor. Also, the dishwasher we asked Chris to install was a higher end Bosch dishwasher which required a junction box and a few other more elaborate steps during the installation process. None of this was of course a problem for Chris. If you are looking for a plumber for any type of work, we highly recommended you call Chris! Hopefully we will not need his services again any time soon but when we do, we know that he will be here very quickly and get our place fixed up with amazing attention to detail.

We experienced a dishwasher flood and after having a terrible experience with the restoration company that our insurance company suggested, during the repair process we decided to part ways with the restoration company and look for other alternatives. The restoration company that was a “preferred vendor” by our insurance company took forever to get any work done, did a horrible job, and was racking up the repair bill to the point at which we almost needed to make a claim through our Strata insurance policy in addition to the claim that we were in the middle of making with our personal insurance company. After carefully researching companies online and reading reviews, we decided to reach out to Rockville Homes and spoke to Oleg. At this point we still required our floor to be replaced in addition to baseboards and a door casing to be installed. The price Oleg quoted was extremely reasonable though price was not the main reason why we selected Rockville Homes. We chose to have Oleg perform the work because of how knowledge and professional he was during our initial and subsequent contacts. We definitely made the right decision in selecting Rockville Homes to finish the job! Oleg was extremely detail oriented, which is quite rare to find and something that we very much appreciated, and he managed to get the job done in no time. Our floors, baseboards, and door casing look amazing! In fact, Oleg managed to perform the work with such efficiency that he even charged us less than what he initially quoted, which was already a reasonable amount to begin with. The only regret we have about hiring Rockville Homes is that we did not hire them from the start rather than initially going with the horrible “preferred vendor” that was suggested by our insurance company.
