We ordered three sets of double doors with Phantom Screens in May 2019 and were given a 10 - 12 week delivery. When we did not hear anything after 10 weeks I contacted Nordik and asked what was happening. It was claimed that there was a high volume and the door manufacturer was behind schedule. In November 2019 we were contacted to arrange installation of said doors but when the installers showed up they were the wrong size. There were miss measured. Then giving time for the Christmas season to finish I contacted the office again to ascertain when/if we would get our doors. Without much warning and prior notice another installation date in February was given. When these installers showed they worked from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM installing the doors and properly weather stripping etc. However, there was a problem. The pins holding the stationary door in place at the bottom were defective and needed replacement. I waited a week before calling again to find out the status and was told the parts are on order and would be available for install February 19. This happened and the service man (Dan) came installed the proper pins and also ensured proper fit on weather stripping and strike plates as the operating doors had too much play and were leaking air. Dan fixed all this and we are so far satisfied. Our may concern was why the long delivery, measuring errors and lack of communication between the office and client. We have a number of friends in our neighborhood who are looking for new windows and doors and have told them o f the poor client service and delays in completing the commitment by the company. The product is of excellent quality but in talking with others I know who have used this company in the past there is a consistent theme and that is one of late delivery and poor communication. I would only recommend this company to others with a caveat for poor deliver and communication.
